Jelena Pavlovic
ADOHTA ACT Representative
Jelena graduated from the University of Sydney in 2014 before being one of the successful applicants to the Oral Health Therapist Graduate Year program. After completing the program in Moruya she continued full time employment at the ACT Dental Health Program.
As a oral health therapist Jelena enjoys being challenged to find management strategies for complex clinical cases and exploring communication techniques for achieving patient empowerment and disease prevention.
A member of the Australian Dental and Oral Health Therapists' Association (ADOHTA) Jelena enjoys learning from her colleagues.
Away from the clinic, Jelena loves being outdoors with her friends and family.

Anita Ballard
ADOHTA ACT Vice President
Anita Ballard graduated Bachelor of Oral Health from The University of Adelaide in 2008, reaching academic heights and receiving several awards throughout her studies, including first place in Clinical Practice and Best Overall in 1st year, first place in Biology and Best Overall in 2nd year, and the award for Oral Health Elective in 3rd year. Anita was the class representative in her final year, and was invited by the University to tutor younger year levels in both 2nd and 3rd years. Anita is also a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society.
Anita has been working in the dental profession for the last 18 years and is currently a practising OHT at Preventive Dentistry in Turner ACT. Anita has a passion for community service and has an active interest in several initiatives supported by the St Vincent de Paul Society. Her enthusiasm for oral health promotion and disease prevention amongst the community has spurned her to establish ‘Little tooth Big Tooth’ – a community oral health education syllabus tailored to community groups and schools. Anita has a passion for both teaching and life-long learning, and has recently completed her Certificate IV in workplace Training and Assessment.

Patricia Mason
ADOHTA ACT Secretary
Trish originally trained as a dental therapist in Tasmania and then upgraded qualifications with University of Adelaide. She has spent most of her career in the public health arena. She is currently with the pubic dental service in the ACT.

Mandy Blyton
ACT Treasurer and Public Officer
Amanda Blyton-Patterson is the Treasurer for the ACT Branch of ADOHTA. She has 31 years experience in dental therapy and is currently the Profession Lead for dental and oral health therapists with ACT Health. Amanda is also a member of the Editorial Committee for the Australian and New Zealand Journal of Dental and Oral Health Therapy.
